ABOUT and C.V.
I am a 3D animator based in rural mid Wales, UK, with a passion for rigging and animating characters for video games. I have been actively engaged in this field since 2010 and have over 12 years of experience in digital animation specifically for video games. My primary focus is on rigging and animation, however I also have a keen interest in modeling characters and props.
I began my career in digital animation by creating 2D Flash animations for casual games. I then moved to 3D character work, developing the game "Tomb of Rooms" with two colleagues. Since then, I have collaborated with various studios and individual developers, offering my skills in modeling, rigging, animation and 2D art. Most recently I had the opportunity to work with the developer Infinity PBR, where I created high-quality characters for the Unity asset store and Unreal marketplace.
My educational background includes studies in art and sculpture, with a focus on model making and special effects at university level. After graduating, I spent approximately two years in the modelmaking industry before transferring into video games and digital art.
Outside of digital 3D, I make 2D artwork for bands. I also enjoy photography and video editing, having made my first short film in lockdown. In addition to my professional endeavors, I like sewing and live music and I am a mother to a young daughter. When I am not immersed in my creative projects, I enjoy spending quality time with her and my husband.
